Utopia 2016 & 2018 Estate Pinot Noir

The Utopia 2016 & 2018 Estate Pinot Noir were very close in the vertical tasting so I will review these two vintages together. They are a distinctive blend of 12 clones from the estate vineyard, showcasing the broadest interpretation of the vineyard’s terroir. The wine exhibits ripe berry and cherry fruit combined with rose petal and spicy aromas, while a vertical tasting with Erin at the winery offered an enjoyable and insightful experience.

Tasting Notes

On the Nose: Ripe berry and cherry fruit mingled with rose petal and spicy aromas, creating an elegant and alluring bouquet.

On the Palate: The palate showcases layers of red fruit flavors, complemented by subtle earthy undertones. A medium body and soft, well-integrated tannins contribute to a refined and lingering finish.
